The Isle of Wight Council’s draft planning strategy is soon to go through its formal public examination by planning inspectors. The inspectors have published a “Matters, Issues and Questions” document. I was pleased to see questions relating to the allocation to Camp Hill and Noke Common and on the proposed masterplanning approach.
The Liberal Democrat Group have set out their priorities for engaging with the government on their devolution proposals set out in a White Paper published just before Christmas 2024
Grants of up to £5,000 are now available to help local groups, clubs and enterprises organise activities for families, parents, carers or young people living on the Isle of Wight.
