I’ve highlighted the very poor state of Partridge Road to the council and sent them photos taken today (18 January 2025) which I took along the whole length.

Partridge Road is one of the roads that was transferred from the Ministry of Justice to the council nearly four years ago. Like all those roads it had the streetlight upgrades but needs its road surface and pavements upgraded.

The process to get to a contract for the upgrades is taking a frustratingly long time because of the complexity of the work needed to put right the decades-long neglect under the MoJ. So I’ve told the council that it must fix the potholes and other areas that have worn away.
