This morning (18 January 2025) I took a walk to check for issues that needed action from Island Roads.

I’ve reported the following to Island Roads:

• a small pothole on the pavement at the junction of Albany Road and Whitesmith Road which means the kerb is a trip hazard particularly for children and parents at school drop-off and pick-up times
• a pothole developing by a manhole cover in Parkhurst Road a little north of the entrance to the hospital
• a pothole developing in Hunnyhill opposite Banner Lane – this may be one that was repaired a little while ago
• the road breaking up in Hunnyhill further south which is particularly a hazard for cyclists and motorbike users
